Country Pop

Country pop is an ever so quickly growing genre that incorporates modern country with modern pop music. This type of genre is usually a hit on country radio, and with the right promotion, can also be moderate to huge hit on pop radio as well. Just recently, the genre made history when Taylor Swift, one of the biggest well known artists from the genre, hit number one on US pop radio with her song, "Love Story". The song also hit number one on country radio just a few months before.
