Indie Electronic

Indie electronic (also known as alternative electronic and sometimes used interchangeably with indietronica) is a term used to describe electronic music that appeals to alternative and indie audiences, sometimes combining elements of alternative rock and/or indie rock with electronic music. Styles that fall under the alternative electronic umbrella include electroclash, indietronica and indie chiptune, alternative dance, dance-punk and more. Artists include Crystal Castles, You Love Her, LCD Soundsystem, Digitalism, Gorillaz and more.
