Street Punk

Oi! or street punk is a kind of music that originated in London, UK in 1980. Oi! music has its roots in: glam rock, pub rock, drinking songs and football chants. Oi! music had a large skinhead following and other working-class youngs, hooligans and herberts. Ideologically is a sort of political populism, which mix nationalism, sense of justice, gregarious feeling and violence. classic Oi! bands could be: Sham 69, Cock Sparrer, The Business, Cockney Rejects, Last Resort or The 4-Skins.
