The Smashing Pumpkins

The Smashing Pumpkins are an American alternative rock band formed in Chicago in 1988. The band's original lineup included Billy Corgan (lead vocals, guitar), D'arcy Wretzky (bass), James Iha (guitar), and Jimmy Chamberlin (drums). They've had numerous lineup changes throughout their career, but Billy Corgan has been the sole constant member and the primary songwriter.
